It’s been an intense and productive start at Birmingham New Street as we commence the replacement of 24 escalators — a major upgrade to support reliability and passenger experience. We’ve already completed and reinstated five escalators, with the remaining 19 progressing through the programme. A significant milestone and a testament to the hard work of everyone involved with the Project.
