🏆 WE WON! 🚀
Proud to share that our team won the hackathon with KONE ELEVATE — an intelligent Elevator Digital Twin for predictive maintenance.
We made a research about PINN by Quibin Wang ,China for this Physics based idea by his research article PINN for modernization.
Why should we always depend on threshold values .Is it necessary?
What if we can define it by equations .More accurate and more efficient.
This thought changed our way of thinking 🤔.
We combined 3D Digital Twin visualization, anomaly detection, and mainly Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) to move beyond simply monitoring sensor values.
The biggest challenge? Taking one elevator component and proving how PINN could understand its physical behaviour. We focused on the door mechanism, using sensor data + physics to explore parameter estimation and fault diagnosis.
🔥 From an idea → PHYSICS simulation → AI → a working solution → Achievement
Huge thanks to my teammates and everyone who supported us throughout the journey. 🤝
This experience has pushed me even deeper into Embedded Systems, Digital Twins, AI/ML and ECE.
Built. Tested. Defended. Won. 🏆🔥
