This week I had the chance to get out of the office and join our Heavy Repairs team onsite for a full hoist rope and compensation rope replacement.
Coming from outside the industry, it’s easy to underestimate just how complex this work really is until you’re standing there watching (and helping) it unfold. The precision, planning, technical and sheer physical demands of getting it right is a real eye opener.
Grateful for the opportunity to get hands-on with my team and see the work up close. Days like this are a good reminder of what our heavy repair crews do every day.
