KONE's homepage serves two billion elevator rides a day, but its website treats every visitor the same.
I redesigned it around intent instead of product category — so someone booking a maintenance visit, modernizing an old elevator, or specifying new equipment for a build all get a direct path, not a generic nav bar.
A few things I changed:
→ Hero pairs the brand promise with a single-purpose shortcut card (no waiting on a carousel)
→ Restructured mid-page content around building types (hospitals, offices, residential) instead of only product lines
→ Turned "What we do" into scannable rows, each with one clear action
