This week, we're in Xiamen for the 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), where Finland is taking center stage as a Guest Country of Honour. 🌏
As the only Finnish company invited to speak at the China-Finland Trade and Cooperation Forum, KONE is contributing to the dialogue on how sustainability and digital innovation can support urban development and strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries.
Representing KONE at CIFIT, our Executive Vice President and Greater China leader Joe Bao (包嘉峰) had the opportunity to meet with Han Zheng, Vice President of China, to discuss KONE’s long-standing relationship with the country.
"Over three decades, our role has evolved from doing business in China to becoming deeply integrated into its urban infrastructure and the daily lives of millions of people,” Bao shared.
Another highlight of the week was signing a cooperation agreement with Guangzhou's Tianhe District – an important step in our Greater Bay Area strategy and a commitment to deeper collaboration on urban renewal and modernization. 🤝
