Last week, I got to spend a few days with our team in Italy. In addition to meeting with our local Finance team and visiting the renewed KONE Academy and showroom, I was particularly inspired by the ambition and initiatives we are driving in the Modernization business.
A few highlights from the visit made me even more excited about the modernization opportunity ahead:
1. Our ONE Week MOD is a strong example of how innovation can translate into tangible customer value. By significantly reducing the time an elevator is out of service, we can minimize disruption for customers, building users and residents, while bringing greater clarity and predictability to the entire modernization journey. It's fast, digital, and sustainable.
2. Behind all this is disciplined end-to-end execution and skilled people making it possible. Delivering modernization differently requires close collaboration across sales, engineering, supply chain and field operations, together with careful preparation and strong execution on site. Ultimately, it is our KONE people who make the difference.
