JOB OPENING -- Inventory Control Assistant
Schumacher Elevator Company is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Assistant to support inventory accuracy and material flow in our manufacturing facility. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials are received, stored, and issued accurately to support production schedules and customer commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
-Pick and stage materials for manufacturing orders
-Support receiving and verify incoming shipments
-Assist with cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
-Process inventory transactions in SAP
-Maintain organized, safe warehouse areas
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-1–3 years of warehouse or inventory experience preferred
-ERP system experience a plus
-Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate material handling equipment
