In this picture, I'm not the one speaking.
And yet, these are probably the moments when I learn the most.
We live in a world where everything has to move fast.
Really fast.
Results.
Decisions.
Transformations.
Everyone wants to move in Fast & Furious mode.
But very few people take the time to pause.
Very few people step back and ask themselves a simple but essential question:
"How can I do better?"
Not faster.
Not harder.
Better.
Over the years, I've noticed something.
The best decisions I've made rarely came from urgency.
They usually came after taking the time to listen.
To observe.
To understand.
To accept that someone around the table might have a better idea than mine.
Whenever I have an important decision to make, I try to get back into that mindset.
Take a step back.
Physically.
Mentally.
Because speed can be impressive.
But it's often perspective that makes the difference.
