Most people see an escalator.
I see months of planning being lifted into place.
At the South Gate of Lusail Boulevard, another major milestone has been successfully completed with the installation of the escalator using a mobile crane.
Behind this hoisting was far more than heavy equipment.
It required:
• Detailed lifting studies and method statements.
• Close coordination between civil, logistics, and installation teams.
• Strict HSE controls, especially under Qatar’s summer working-hour restrictions.
• Precise execution to position the escalator safely and accurately on the first attempt.
The challenge was never lifting the escalator. It was aligning safety, logistics, engineering, and execution into one successful operation.
Every successful lift reduces project risk, protects the schedule, and moves the project one step closer to final delivery.
Projects aren’t remembered because they were easy. They’re remembered because every critical milestone was delivered safely, predictably, and as planned.
Looking forward to completing the remaining activities and delivering another successful project.
