Let's talk about impacting the safety profession. Within the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), we have the Advisory Group. This group is a standing committee responsible for monitoring trends that impact workplace safety and the profession. The Advisory Group uses that information to recommend a course of action to the Board of Directors. The group acts as a key link between the Board and our Members.
ASSP is looking for new members on the Advisory Group. Take a moment to consider it. Your voice matters, and this is a great way to be involved. The term is for 1 year, and the commitment is up to 3 hours per month.
