TKIL Industries brings the polytrack®️ eco by thyssenkrupp Polysius®️, the next generation of clinker cooler technology. A moving floor system with adjustable speed ensures that the clinker layer is not disturbed during transport. The optimised aeration elements design allows for cooling fan operation at low pressure.
The cooler powered with a modular hydraulic design is available with an option of hot stand-by pump. The hydraulic system equipped with simplified load sensing and smart controls help manage thermal efficiency and flexibility for variable stroke length across the cooler width aides performance consistent under load.
From the maintenance aspect, spillage-free double labyrinth sealing prevents clinker spillage below the grate eliminating the requirement of under-grate dust removal conveyors. The aeration element design ensures a cold clinker layer above it, thereby providing autogenous wear protection. Moreover, major maintenance activities can be attended from the top of grate.
The design of polytrack®️ eco cooler is oxy fuel ready, and also available for retrofits in plants operating with earlier generation of polytrack coolers systems, utilizing the possibility of using the existing hydraulics, aeration units and crusher rolls.
