At IMEM Lifts, we continue to strengthen the way we measure and manage our environmental impact. Following the assessment of our 2025 carbon footprint, we are pleased to share the key figures that will help guide our operational strategy:
🔹 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 (𝗦𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝟮): 𝟬 𝘁𝗖𝗢₂𝗲. All the electricity used in our offices and facilities comes from suppliers that certify 100% renewable electricity.
🔹 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (𝗦𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝟭): 𝟰𝟱𝟯 𝘁𝗖𝗢₂𝗲. These emissions mainly come from the fuel used by our technicians' vehicles as they travel to install, maintain and service our customers' lifts.
As our business continues to grow, we want to ensure that our environmental performance is measured beyond absolute emissions. That is why we are already developing efficiency indicators, such as carbon emissions per employee and per lift in service, to better monitor our continuous improvement.
To further reduce our environmental impact, 𝘄𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀, 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘄-𝗲𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘃𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗲𝘁. At the same time, we are preparing our internal processes to incorporate the calculation of indirect value chain emissions (Scope 3) into future reporting.
