Driving Healthcare Digitalization Through Smart Modernization
KONE is proud to support the digital transformation journey of Hong Hung General Hospital in Vietnam through the successful completion of Phase 1 of its elevator modernization project featuring KONE MonoSpace DX elevators.
More than a modernization upgrade, the project demonstrates how connected People Flow® solutions can enable smarter and more efficient hospital operations. By leveraging KONE’s cloud-connected digital platform, the hospital has successfully integrated autonomous delivery robots with KONE elevators, allowing robots to automatically call elevators and travel between floors to support medicine and material transportation.
This integration helps reduce operational workload for nurses and hospital staff, enabling healthcare professionals to focus more on patient care while improving operational efficiency across the facility.
The upgraded elevators are also supported by KONE 24/7 Connect, our predictive maintenance solution powered by AI-based analytics, helping minimize downtime and ensure reliable people flow in a 24/7 healthcare environment.
The project reflects how KONE is accelerating digitalization and driving modernization in existing buildings, two key focus areas under KONE Rise strategy, by helping customers future-proof their facilities with intelligent, connected, and sustainable solutions.
Following the successful Phase 1 delivery, KONE has also been awarded the next phase of the project to provide additional KONE MonoSpace DX digital elevators for the hospital’s expansion development.
