Shyam Kurumkar √ has been appointed as DGM – Modernization Sales at TK Elevator India Pvt. Ltd., where he will lead the company's modernization business across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. With more than 15 years of experience in the vertical transportation industry, he brings extensive expertise in elevator modernization, sales, installation, key account management, customer engagement, and business development. In his new role, he will focus on expanding the modernization portfolio, delivering innovative elevator replacement solutions, and driving sustainable business growth across Western India.
Before joining TK Elevator India Pvt. Ltd., Shyam built an accomplished career at Toshiba Johnson Elevators (India) Private Limited, where he progressed through several leadership positions from Assistant Sales Manager to AGM – West (Regional Manager – Sales & Installation). During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in strengthening regional sales, overseeing installation operations, and driving business growth.
Earlier, he gained international experience with Petrobuild International Elevator (Hitachi – Qatar) and also held key roles at Hitachi Lift India, further enhancing his expertise in elevator sales, customer relationship management, installation management, and regional business leadership. His appointment marks another significant milestone in his career and reflects his strong track record of delivering customer-centric solutions and driving growth in the elevator and escalator industry.
