It has nothing to do with my job title.
I could talk about transformation.
Performance.
EBITDA.
Growth.
But the truth lies elsewhere.
I grew up alongside a cousin living with a disability.
Very early on, I realized that some people spend part of their lives overcoming obstacles that others don't even notice.
Climbing a staircase.
Taking public transportation.
Accessing a building.
Using a website.
Joining a conversation.
For many people, these things are ordinary.
For others, they are not.
And when you grow up witnessing that reality firsthand, you never look at the world the same way again.
That's probably why accessibility has become a common thread throughout my career.
Not because it's a market.
Not because it's fashionable.
But because it's profoundly human.
Today, what motivates me isn't improving a process by 2%.
It's knowing that a decision, a project, or a solution can help someone regain a little more independence.
A little more freedom.
A little more life.
Barriers are not always physical.
Sometimes they're digital.
Sometimes they're social.
Sometimes they're simply the result of a world that wasn't designed with everyone in mind.
So every time we remove one of those barriers, even a small one...
We're not just transforming a process.
We're transforming someone's daily life.
And for me, that's what gives meaning to everything else.
