61 years ago Singapore started with nothing. No natural resources, no one else to lean on… just a plan and the will to see it through.
I’ve been here for 20 of those years and a citizen for the last 10. I came with several suitcases (I don’t pack light!) and no idea this would become home.
This country supported people through crises most nations would have given up on. It came out stronger each time. And somewhere in that story, it made room for someone like me. Singapore welcomed me and let me build a life.
I see the same spirit at KONE, a company that has spent years partnering Singapore on its urban development through people flow solutions and investing in the people who make that happen.
I’m fortunate to call both home.
