Minimizing disruption and adding elegance in Sydney
Chifley North is among Sydney’s finest workplaces (pic 1). So our team had to ensure minimal disruption when modernizing their elevators. They used Schindler PORT Overlay to reduce waiting times then modernized the elevators one at a time.
Meanwhile, at the Queen Victoria Building, we used our unique Schindler INTRUSS® solution to remove everything except the escalator’s original truss before fitting a brand-new escalator, reducing downtime and allowing the escalator to get back to service sooner (pic 2).
And at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, a glamorous five-star hotel, our team modernized seven elevators and included touch screens and motion sensor controls to match the hotel’s sleek overall design (pics 3&4).
