Mitsubishi Elevator (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. and QUIKBOT signed a strategic collaboration on 8 September 2026 to build trust infrastructure for Physical AI in Singapore’s built environment.
* Mitsubishi Elevator Singapore has been named a Strategic Founding Infrastructure Partner in QuikBot’s Physical AI Trust Infrastructure initiative.
* The collaboration combines Mitsubishi’s elevator/building expertise with QuikBot’s QuikSync platform, enabling robots to securely identify, authenticate, obtain permission and interact with elevators and building systems.
* The shared vision: create “Physical AI Ready Buildings” where autonomous systems can operate safely, securely and responsibly.
* QuikSync provides the critical trust layer covering identity, permissions, governance, secure orchestration and operational traceability.
* Importantly, the model is open and interoperable, allowing robots from multiple manufacturers rather than locking buildings into a single robotics vendor.
* This is already operational, not just conceptual: QuikSync is supporting a Singapore residential deployment where an independent autonomous cleaning robot interacts with building infrastructure.
* Future applications include delivery, cleaning, security, inspection and healthcare robotics, with plans for further pilots, customer deployments and potentially wider deployment across buildings, campuses and districts.
* The partnership could also contribute toward future industry standards for Physical AI infrastructure.
The bigger significance:
Robots are only one part of Physical AI.
For autonomy to scale in the real world, buildings themselves need a trusted permission and governance layer.
QuikSync is positioning QuikBot at that critical intersection between robots, infrastructure and trust.
