The World Cup culminated with Spain capturing the title for only the second time in FIFA's century-old history. As one of the host cities, Toronto was abuzz with energy, drawing massive crowds to fan zones, convention centres, movie theatres, and local pubs. Having spoken to many of our Schindler Elevator Corporation (Canada) technicians who worked tirelessly throughout the tournament to keep elevators and escalators running flawlessly, their pride in supporting our customers, the fans, and the city was deeply evident.
While this tournament had no "Hand of God" moment for Argentina, the elevator technicians and many other trades who maintained the multitude of equipment across these bustling venues certainly had a hand in delivering a winning experience for Toronto.
