We are hiring on behalf of our client for a Country Manager / Managing Director to spearhead the establishment and expansion of its Indonesia operations. This role will lead business development, sales growth, organizational setup, and strategic partnerships while working closely with the headquarters to build a strong and sustainable presence in the Indonesian market across the elevator and escalator industry.
Job Responsibilities
1. Lead the establishment, operations, and business expansion of the company in Indonesia.
2. Develop and execute sales strategies, drive business growth, and secure new B2B projects across government, construction, property, hospitality, healthcare, and industrial sectors.
3. Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders while managing the entire sales cycle from business development to project closing.
4. Oversee office setup, PMA establishment, team development, and operational readiness, while collaborating closely with the headquarters in Suzhou, China.
Job Requirements
1. 10–15 years of experience in the elevator and escalator industry with a proven track record in sales, business development, and leadership.
2. Strong network and experience working with developers, contractors, government institutions, and other key stakeholders within the industry.
3. Experience in establishing new business operations or branch offices is preferred.
4. Strong leadership, business development, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
5. Fluent in English and willing to travel as required.
