Schindler Group Sees Opportunity in Proposed KONE-TK Elevator Deal
Swiss elevator manufacturer Schindler sees potential opportunities for customer gains, talent acquisition and possible asset purchases if divestitures arise from regulatory reviews of KONE’s proposed acquisition of TK Elevator.
Speaking to Reuters, Schindler CEO Paolo Compagna said the integration process could create openings for competitors as the combined business navigates regulatory scrutiny and internal consolidation.
The proposed €29.4 billion transaction, still subject to approvals, would create the world’s largest lift manufacturer.
