7,000 Mitsubishi elevators in Singapore. Our partnership aims to open every one of them to robots.
QUIKBOT Technologies and Mitsubishi Elevator (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. have signed a strategic partnership to connect service robots with elevators at scale, now featured in NNA ASIA, the leading Japanese business news agency covering Asia.
In the words of Mr Mori Hideyuki, Managing Director of Mitsubishi Elevator Singapore:
"How to connect the vertical movement provided by elevators with the horizontal movement of robots was a technical challenge. Today's partnership is a major step forward."
Mr Mori also shared with NNA: "As an elevator company, we want to respond firmly to these societal needs. We will propose integrated services with QuikBot Technologies to customers as one solution."
What we are building together:
Mitsubishi Elevator Singapore maintains approximately 7,000 elevators across the country, and our partnership aims to open this installed base to robots. QuikSync, our cloud platform, serves as the common connection layer that lets service robots, regardless of manufacturer, call, board and ride Mitsubishi elevators autonomously.
One API. Any robot maker. Every floor.
With Singapore actively pushing robotics adoption in labour short sectors like delivery, cleaning and security, this partnership arrives at the right moment. A live trial is already running at a Marine Parade facility, retrofitted onto an existing elevator.
