🎉 We are proud to recognize the outstanding achievement of the Hiroshima Global Academy student team, named the regional winner of the Asia Pacific Made to Move Communities™ 2026 Challenge!
This year’s competition brought together 18 teams (131 students) from 16 schools across Japan, highlighting strong nationwide engagement in #STEM learning. After a rigorous evaluation process, the Hiroshima Global Academy team was selected to represent Japan at the Asia Pacific Regional Competition.
With support from Otis volunteer mentors, the team developed an innovative solution using AI-powered drones to support evacuation during natural disasters—addressing critical challenges in aging and geographically isolated communities.
