This is a very personal post, and one I don’t make lightly.
As some of you know, in October 2023, my daughter Caitlin passed away at the age of 38. She was a teacher who cared deeply about children and about giving back, especially through her work with Make-A-Wish.
In her honor, my family is participating in the 2026 Make-A-Wish Long Beach Polar Bear Splash. I’m sharing her story below to help carry forward a cause that meant so much to her.
