Since returning to Otis Elevator Co., I’ve made a point of spending time in the field.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve travelled throughout Western Europe, from Utrecht to Marseille, with stops in Lille, Nantes and Paris. I had the pleasure of speaking with over 500 employees and 50 customers.
What made the biggest impression on me? Seeing teams that are as committed as ever and passionate about their work. I encountered the same energy and culture of safety, and the same constant drive to provide the best service to our customers.
These encounters also served as a reminder of the essential role we play. Every day, our solutions enable millions of people to travel safely and efficiently. In an increasingly urbanized and connected world that is constantly on the move, our mission to make travel safer, smoother and smarter is more relevant than ever.
My conversations with our customers reinforced what I’ve heard from our teams: a shared commitment to excellence, a shared drive to move forward, and a shared passion for service. It is this collective energy that will enable us to seize the opportunities of tomorrow.
