Really enjoyed being part of the judging panel for the first BCU Student Opportunities Awards taking place next month
What I loved most was the huge amount of positive feedback – both about our fantastic students and the amazing community partners, mentors and employers who support them.
Across Volunteering, Mentoring, Go Abroad and Placements, there were so many examples of students making a genuine impact, growing in confidence and making the most of the opportunities available to them. Equally, it was great to see how highly our students valued the employers, mentors and organisations who gave their time, encouragement and support.
Choosing the winners wasn't easy and looking forward to celebrating everyone’s achievements at the awards. 🎉👏. Thanks to Adrian Gray, Frankie Hall (née Galati), Anastasios (Tas) Tapeinopoulos and Craig David MCMI for giving up their time today
