Well, it’s funny how life works sometimes. Three months ago I decided to make a jump to a new industry, thinking I wanted something completely different than the world I was living in for the past eight and a half years.
It turns out that sometimes those jumps aren’t the right fit, but you never know unless you try. I realized quickly that I missed the world I came from. I was told when I left the elevator industry that I’d miss the chaos and I didn’t believe them at the time - but they were right.
I made the decision to come back to a familiar industry, but to a new team that I’m excited to work alongside. Change can be hard, but it can also be rewarding, and this new opportunity has already challenged me in fulfilling ways.
I’m proud to be diving head first into my new role as a Project Manager for TK Elevator, helping manage one of the largest elevator projects that will likely come this way - the QEII Hospital Expansion.
I’m sure there will be some ups and downs, but I'm ready to rise to the occasion!!
