Currently,mahmoud abdelhamid serves as Services Business Development & Sales Manager at thyssenkrupp Polysius, where he represents advanced service solutions, spare parts, and modernization offerings across Egypt’s cement and mining industries. In this role, he focuses on building long-term client partnerships, identifying upgrade opportunities, and delivering value-driven solutions that enhance equipment performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Previously, mahmoud abdelhamid worked as Head of Inspection Department at ,Sinai Cement Co. - Vicat Group where he led inspection operations, managed reliability programs, and ensured optimal performance of critical plant equipment. Prior to that, he served as Technical Sales Manager at Fuller, covering multiple international markets including Egypt, Turkey, KSA, UAE, Pakistan, and Nigeria, focusing on gear services, spare parts, and preventive maintenance solutions.
Earlier in his career, mahmoud abdelhamid held key engineering roles at Amreyah Cement, FLSmidth, ASEC Cement, and INTERMAINT Group, where he developed strong technical expertise in mechanical maintenance, inspection engineering, and project execution within large-scale cement manufacturing environments. These roles helped him build a strong foundation in rotating equipment reliability, root cause analysis, and condition-based maintenance strategies.
mahmoud abdelhamid holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Alexandria University, along with professional certifications including CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) and Vibration Analysis Category II, strengthening his expertise in maintenance excellence and industrial reliability standards.
