Dr. Sridhar Rajagopal has been elevated to Vice President & Managing Director, Southeast Asia at Otis Elevator Co., marking a significant milestone in his extensive leadership journey across industrial businesses, strategy, M&A, sales, marketing, and business transformation.
In his new role, Sridhar will lead the Southeast Asia business with a focus on strengthening market performance, driving strategic growth, and advancing business priorities across the region. His experience across commercial leadership, strategy, M&A, and business development brings a strong combination of strategic and operational expertise.
Sridhar has built a distinguished career with Otis Elevator Co., progressing through several senior leadership roles. His journey includes Vice President Sales & Marketing, Otis Asia Pacific and Global Head, Sigma Elevator Co.; Vice President Sales and Marketing, Otis Asia Pacific; Director, Sales & Marketing, Strategy, M&A; and Senior Director Marketing, Communication, Strategy and M&A.
Earlier in his tenure at Otis, he also served as Director M&A, Pacific Asia Area and Director M&A and JVs, developing deep expertise in mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and regional business development.
His broader leadership experience includes roles at UTC Building and Industrial Systems as Director M&A, South Asia Pacific and Director M&A, Asia. He also served as Executive Director and Business Head and Director Business Development at Armstrong World Industries (I) Pvt. Ltd., Business Head, UK at Piramal Glass UK, and Vice President, Strategic Planning at Nicholas Piramal India Ltd.
Sridhar’s extensive experience across industrial businesses, strategy, M&A, commercial leadership, and regional markets positions him well to lead Otis’ Southeast Asia operations, strengthen business performance, and contribute to the company’s continued growth across the region.
