I’d like to share some highlights from my recent visit to one of Hitachi’s most advanced building solutions facilities.
Hitachi supports much of the world’s critical social infrastructure, including rail and energy networks, and also many of the buildings in which we live and work. We are developing technologies that make buildings more energy-efficient, disaster-resilient, safer for occupants, and better-managed for everyone.
At this facility in Tokyo, customers can test-drive HMAX for Buildings, our digital service that uses operational data collected 24/7 to improve the efficiency of building operations, maintenance, and energy consumption.
Buildings are closely connected to our own lives. This experience gave me a deep sense of reassurance and pride in Hitachi to witness how our colleagues embody “Safety First” in everything they do, from new elevator safety features to systems that protect lives in the event of disaster.
