Citadella fortification located upon the top of Gellért Hill in Budapest offers the best views to Budapest. As part of the renovation of the fortification the view was made accessible for all with the help of KONE elevators.
My recommendation: If you come to visit Budapest, this is the top spot to visit. The views are breathtaking especially during and after sunset.
