At Warsaw Trade Tower, digitally connected elevators help optimize the energy consumption of the building’s heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems through real-time building occupancy analysis.
"Now we can run the building more effectively, based on real demand. If teams work specific hours, conditions adjust automatically – maximizing comfort with demand responsive ventilation while saving energy, costs and also cutting carbon. We stopped looking at the elevator as just a means of vertical transport. Today, they are an important part of our Building Management System," explains Teodor Teter, Digital Transformation Manager at Globalworth Poland.
