📕 The Singapore Business Carbon Report 2025 is out now!
Now in its fifth edition, "Closing the Climate Reporting Gap: Overcoming Challenges" arrives through the LowCarbonSG programme, which has recorded 266 participating companies, 444 cumulative CERT submissions, 1,975 participants trained, and 5,839,357 tCOâ‚‚e of emissions to date.
Singapore's carbon tax rose to S$45 per tonne in January 2026, nearly double the previous year, on its way to S$50-80 by 2030. STI-constituent companies are now reporting Scope 3 emissions, while the rest of the market is phased in with time to build the necessary systems and skills, supported by an updated SGX/ACRA reporting roadmap that extends timelines to give businesses greater runway to build robust climate disclosure capabilities.
