For Hitachi, March marks the close of our fiscal year—an important milestone to reflect on an exciting year and outline our next steps.

Last April, we announced our new management plan, #Inspire2027, reaffirming our commitment to driving sustainable growth with digital at the core.

Hitachi has diverse businesses and brilliant people. This year, our One Hitachi approach grew even stronger. We saw this at our new Rail Factory in America, opened in September. It’s a next‑generation facility powered by our digital capabilities, where we first applied our customer value propositions to our own operations.

Also, this year marked the true rise of #PhysicalAI, as the industry shifts from generative AI to agentic AI, and now toward physical AI. #HMAX, unveiled in January at #CES2026, puts us in a leading position. HMAX is our suite of next-generation solutions that brings the power of AI to social infrastructure, and its impact will continue to expand in the years ahead.

From April, a new fiscal year begins. With new members joining us, we will move forward even more strongly.

Let’s continue working together to contribute to society.
