Advancing smart building integration in Hong Kong
We are proud to support the development of the HSITP Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park at the Lok Ma Chau Loop – an ambitious initiative advancing innovation and cross-boundary collaboration in the Greater Bay Area.
As part of the first phase of the project, we delivered 23 lifts and four escalators, throughout Batches 1B and 1C. The buildings are equipped with Schindler PORT technology to optimise traffic flow and security. We have also integrated our Schindler Built-In API – a software interface that lets external apps and systems (like access control, mobile apps, or robots) connect to and control elevators – to support smart building operations. These solutions are designed to enhance the customer journeys throughout the buildings, contributing to a connected and future-ready environment.
We are also proud to collaborate with Gammon Construction Limited, the main contractor for this project. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to quality execution and the successful delivery of complex, large-scale developments.
